Artist's Comments:
Jill Charuk an AFCA with the Federation of Canadian Artists flew to Gabriola Island to teach us how she paints on black canvas. We planned to put them together for the Gabriola Royal Lepage Realty office, which hangs June1-September1, 2016. This was fun, we got to play with opaques. Not as easy as you might think.
People love flowers - all of these paintings have individually gone to new homes.
