Lawren Harris, Mountains and Lakes, was the first choice in studying the Group of Seven artists.  We decided to add stenciling to the painting.  Different brush techniques and colour choices add to the painting.

The Group of Several's talent is to choose an image and cut it into pieces from an 8x10 photo.  The layout is in the form of a puzzle, using two 12x24 and 8 12x12 canvases. Each of us chooses a piece or two, accepts the colour suggestions and starts.  The comraderie and fun begin, matching up to our neighbour and then putting it together.
