2018 a Series was painted of Cars. There were 8 artists at this time in the Group of Several.  We chose cars because of the active Car Club on Gabriola island.  There were many opportunities to view the cars, take photos and chat to their owners.  We decided to put it together as a racing flag finish line presentation.  The Gabriola Auto Garage bought images to hang in their garage. 

Fun and more fun.  Many had never even polished the family car, let alone understand its chrome or decals.  We had a great time, there were reflections, chrome, glitter, lights.  Cathie Compton and her husband owned three of the very old vehicles and she painted hers.  She did understand cars. 

All of these paintings have found car loving homes and they also have been made into canvas prints and greeting cards for the Gabriola Automobile Club.
